Senator Ted Kennedy
After the passing of Eunice Kennedy Shriver comes another passing of the Kennedy family who has, throughout his life, tried to make a difference. Many of you may have heard the news that at 77 years of age, Senator Ted Kennedy has passed away. Senator Ted Kennedy was the younger brother of Eunice Kennedy Shriver. Like his sister, Senator Kennedy was an advocate for equal rights. He was very committed in helping minorities reach equality. These minorities he advocated for included a vast range, including women. He played a big part in passing laws that had to do with healthcare, immigration, cancer research, rights, and so on.Us here at DDA feel affected by the passing of Senator Kennedy as he was so dedicated into achieving equal rights for all people.
