Toy Recalls: Safety Tips for Parents
This week there have been some more recalls on various toys that may be potentially hazardous for your child. We’ve previously blogged about the dangers of the bumbo chair, and some of the best and worst toys for your toddlers. Two more toys to add to the list (from the Associated Press) are the Magnetic Maze Toys, Steam Bottle Warmers, and Double Strollers.
Magnetic Maze Toys magnetic “wand/pen” can detach and cause choking hazards. The same goes for the magnets. As for all children and baby toys, be careful of purchasing any that include lead or magnetics, as accidental consumption of either can lead to potentially dangerous situations for your child. No images were released by the Associated Press on Steam Bottle Warmers or Double Strollers, but following this link will take you to the direct news article with more information on other items on the recall list, and on the Steam Bottle Warmers and Double Strollers.
