The current problems facing our community seem to deepen with every passing day. Let's try to make a mark this year in the battle to defend current funding and services. We must also do everything possible to reach for proper recognition of, and provision for, the unmet needs of clients and their families. Let's not allow 60 years of hope to be washed away by the temporary fiscal problems we are now facing. That's my watchword for this year, HOPE. This is an important milestone to celebrate.
