Let’s Celebrate Senior’s Week!
Since 2002, the first full week of June has been declared Senior’s Week (See the official proclamation here: http://www.health.gov.bc.ca/seniors/senior-proclamation.html ). This year, June 3- 9 (dates vary slightly by community) is a time to celebrate and recognize senior’s – individuals who have racked up wisdom while making vital contributions to society throughout the years. During this week, there are numerous free and low cost activities for seniors across Greater Vancouver. Below are some links to Senior’s Week events in just a few lower mainland communities.
